The Z-lab: Research Fellows and PhD Candidates

We have a very active group of research fellows and PhD candidates in the Z-lab.

Current projects address parenting and its impact on child emotion regulation and youth development; coping with stress in close relationships; attachment and its measurement; attention, ADHD, and mindwandering; rejection in social groups; defending against bullying among children; pracitioner competence in children's disruptive behavior; screening for fetal alcohol syndrome, transgender development and health care, and sexuality. see below for more details.

RESEARCH FELLOWS

Dr. Kathy Ryan

     Dr. Ryan completed her PhD on threat bias experimental methodology. She currently works on the ARC-funding Parenting in an Unsteady World project focusing on overinvolved parenting and youth development after the transition out of high school. The project involves a large study or macrosocial risks and parenting, and a longitudinal study of parents and their Year 12 students.
